Bio

Who are the Black Hole Sons

Formed post-Covid in the Spring of 2022, Black Hole Sons covers alternative rock from the ‘90s and 00’s. Based in Nashville, TN, and inspiring local bar venues throughout middle Tennessee, the band is comprised of: 

Brad Byram – lead vocals and rhythm guitar.  From Austin TX.  Brad has been playing all genres of music and range of instruments since his teenage years.   His biggest project to date was with the band Canvas, where he toured the US and Europe for 10 years. 

Mike “The Professor” Orr – lead guitar/mandolin and background vocals.   From Franklin, TN.  A mechanical engineer by education, Mike is currently a physics teacher at Page High School while he is not perfecting his lead solos. 

Tommy “The Dreamer” Wilson – drums and lead/backing vocals. Originally From the Ozarks of Missouri, he brings over 4 decades experience playing, touring, teaching, and singing.  Tommy also works in the Music Products Industry, marketing and selling gear around the world. 

Mike “Hunk” Hunkler – bass guitar and background vocals.  From Ft. Wayne, IN.  A civil engineer by day, and band manager on the weekends.  Mike has been playing in bands since age 15 and is the sound engineer for the St. Henry’s choir in West Nashville.
